    Daunen-Batist is 100% cotton, weight: 95g/m2, thickness: 0.005″, no sizing, 63 inches wide and sold by the yard. Fine yet very tear-resistant fabric, similar to airplane cotton.

      Use in conservation: lining, hinging, rebacking, board-slotting and other book repair. We recommend washing the cotton in warm water so that the cotton is more receptive to paste. After washing dry flat making sure the threads follow a straight line in each direction for durability.
